Lovingly constructed in the oldest yard in Italy, the Benetti Ocean Paradise will be launched into the spotlight as the largest yacht at the Cannes Yachting Festival this September and when it comes to yachts, size really does matter. This 55m behemoth of beautiful aluminium and steel guarantees a relaxed relationship with the sea, even whilst reposing in the main salon or lunch area.
Let’s get down to numbers
Two CAT 3512 motors, with a combined horsepower of 2,367 mean this super yacht is easily capable of reaching its top speed of 17 knots; if you’re feeling more economical however, she’ll reach her 4,000 nautical mile cruising range at a good 12 knots.
Let the games begin
If the oversized swimming pool with waterfalls and the gym on the sun deck aren’t enough for you, there’s also a bar with a DJ console available for your tinkering. Kept independent from the toy-launching area are the jet-skis, which are mounted on the foredeck, offering a teasing view of the circuit around the giant. If you’re in a less excitable mood, specially encased zen gardens are on hand to fully relax and impress.
Wonderfully enlightened
Light is of paramount importance on the Ocean Paradise. The ample openings in the yacht’s structure, including a crystal skylight, allow generous amounts of natural light in and artificial light is provided via a temperature-controlled colour system, ensuring a calming cohesion between the atmosphere and nature.

Speaking of inner beauty, the interiors on this yacht have been painstakingly realised into a truly natural and relaxing environment. With specially commissioned light-switches, wardrobe handles, and even completely-leather covered interiors for the lockers, every little detail on this boat has been carefully considered.
