The best winter dates in London (and what to wear to them)
Words: India Gladstone
Winter dating in London can be tricky; it doesn’t have the same kind of pull as rooftop summer cocktails or a pub garden that’s still lit up at 10pm on a Thursday night. But one thing that winter dating does have is the ability to be incredibly romantic; the night sky lit up with insane amounts of sparkling Christmas lights, warm fires inviting you in from arctic temperates and snow (which admittedly doesn’t fall that often but when it does, it’s spectacular) – what’s not to love? Getting the outfit that you wear for your date right equally as important as getting the destination right; although we hate to sound shallow, a lot of women do make their judgements on a man based on the clothes he wears. So, where should you take her? And what should you wear?
Little Feast
This is one of London’s hottest new street food markets – and that’s rich coming from a city that’s saturated with them. Set in a Goldhawk Road yard, Little Feast is a Scandinavian inspired market, complete with a snow-capped forest and bark floor and serves everything from mulled wine to smoked meat. The pop up is only open until December 23rd, so your time in limited but we promise this is one of the best places to take your girl this winter.

Winter Wonderland
Most girls will jump at the opportunity for a date at Winter Wonderland, even if, at time of asking, they do try and play it cool. A lot of gentlemen are weary of taking a girl to a place that is, effectively (although it’s not) made for children. Head there with your other half and we guarantee that your mind with be changed…

Rooftop bars need not only be reserved for summer, you just might need to work a little harder to find one fully equipped to work through winter. With both an indoor and outdoor seating area on the rooftop, you’ll be hard pressed to find something you don’t like about this spot. It’s cosy, it’s warm and it’s got fantastic food and drink.
