Lighten up: Windsor’s summer 2025 collection will ready you for the sun
For its latest range, the menswear expert jets to Capri, where lightweight jackets and pinstripe patterns are showcased against a backdrop of idyllic island life

There are two key points in the year that style enthusiasts look forward to: the first is the stretch of calendar in which layering up is the done thing; and the second is when those big pieces are finally shed, paving way for lighter, breezier clothes that are suited for the fair-weather months to come. Windsor, the Switzerland-based luxury brand that specialises in relaxed, contemporary tailoring and refined casual pieces, is already on the front foot with regards to the brighter period having ushered in its new-season collection by heading to Capri, the Italian island synonymous with the jet-set crowd.
Along the way, the sojourn was marked by moments that often define journeys to this beautiful corner of Europe: a boat ride along the Amalfi, meals with close ones, evening soirées at a newly discovered hotel. Key among the trip, though, was the display of new threads on offer.

With sunshine and heat arriving in the coming weeks and months, the focus is firmly on high-quality linens and stretch linen fabrics; because of their lightweight quality and breathability, these materials have long been advocated as go-tos for warm-weather outings. Moreover, thanks to their washed finishes, they have a worn-in look.

Of particular note within the new collection are the double-breasted ‘soft fit’ jackets: made with a bit of stretch, produced without a sleeve lining, and crafted from a textured ‘papertouch’ fabric, the result is an easy-feel garment that will formalise any outfit, but without the rigid structure.
To help soften up the tailoring even further, the label is also proffering lightweight knitted polos in linen-cotton blends (the brown option with horizontal stripes is a standout piece), boxy resort shirts, shirt jackets, and collared shirts designed with thick stripes. Below the belt, there are tailored shorts, wide-leg trousers with pleats, and cargo pants, all of which continue the off-duty but refined ethos, the perfect dress-code that will take you from piazza to coast to late-night Negronis.

When it comes to the colour palette, Windsor’s initial summer 2025 arrivals were designed in options that included ecru, white, light grey, tobacco and a soft Capri blue that evokes the Mediterranean waters.
In March, spirited tones of lemon and tangerine will be introduced – we’re big fans of the playful yet classic double-breasted pinstripe blazer in yellow – imbuing the collection with further colour and vibrancy, and readying the wearer for the arrival of the summer sun.
