Dating, Brixton

Ideal for sociable single hearts keen to have some fun, this night comes full of games, cocktails, and 70s & 80s disco classics. Taking place at Brixton’s Market House, this great event is ready to revamp the awkward silences of the conventional speed dating, and shake up your Thursday evening with great people and, who knows, perhaps a potential partner to share the cold Christmas festivities with?

Live Music, Barbican
The Oxford-based band Stornoway’s performance of their second album it is a not-to-be-missed event at the Barbican this Sunday. The band have recently headlined Somerset House, played the pyramid stage at Glastonbury and won the XFM Album of the year. And to top it all, ever since we saw these guys play an intimate Sofar sounds gig in Seven Sisters we were sold!

The guys at Vauxhall Village, partnered with the Rooftop Film Club, are back to bring us the best of all-time classic movies with a Christmassy feel. Accompanied with mulled wine, hot cider, comfy chairs, popcorn, wireless earphones, and a cosy blanket; this is the perfect snug winter movie night. And better yet, the screenings will be taking place under the quirky railway arches in Vauxhall.
The Love Song of R. Buckminster Fuller

Film, Barbican/Moorgate
