Antique weaponry and defensive armour make for compelling viewing. Their unquestionable popularity within the world’s great institutions, such as The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York or H.M. Tower of London, speaks volumes for our fascination, perhaps sparked by a sense of history or plain awe.
