GlenDronach distillery is nearly 200 years old and is located in the Scottish Highlands. It was founded in 1826 by James Allardice but has gone through a number of ownerships, including a member of the Grant family and more recently Teacher & Sons. Today, however it is owned by BenRiach Distillery Company, who are committed to making the distillery live on and are passionate in keeping to traditional distilling practices.

The cask strength is a non chill filtered whisky with a natural colour. It has been matured in a combination of Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry casks. On the nose there are hints of ginger and honey and on the palate there is intense toffee and rich sherry-soaked dark fruits. The finish is one that is long and lingering.

We think this is the perfect tipple for burns night and one that is sure to warm you up in the cold whether.
