These are the 9 issues that worry the world’s richest people

You’d be right if you thought that the world’s richest people generally worry about inheritance and personal welfare rather than basic and more common worries such as whether they can afford to put food on the table for their families, or if they will ever be able to afford a house big enough for their children.

To get to the bottom of the general patterns and thoughts of the world’s richest people, Knight Frank and Wealth X put together a comprehensive report, which indeed concluded that said wealthy members of our community worry about the following:

  • Succession and inheritance issues: 67%
  • Tax for the wealthy: 62%
  • Global economy: 61%
  • Stock market volatility: 51%
  • Online security and privacy: 39%
  • Personal safety and security: 34%
  • Compliance issues: 34%
  • Personal and family health: 33%
  • The environment: 14%

None of the above should come as a huge surprise, particularly considering the fact that a large majority of the world’s wealthiest come from family money and therefore their worries will lie in the form of inheritance issues. What might come as more of a surprise is the fact that the environment and family health concerns lie right at the bottom of the list.
