This is the newest addition from Rupert and Jo Clevely, the husband and wife team behind Geronimo Inns. However this was in fact their very first pub in 1995 when they first started out. Now with there new partners at Youngs and after fourteen years they have re-opened the Pub where it all began.

The Chelsea ram lies just off the trendy Lots Road on the borders of Fulham and Chelsea. Its location makes it a perfect venue for pre Stamford Bridge lunch or a warm up for a night out, as it is just round the corner from the popular Embargo night club.

Like all Geromino’s the feel is a homely one, with quirky paintings, a selections of board games to pass the time and friendly staff. In terms of the food, we think it would be fair to say that pub grub doesn’t get better for this price. The menu consists of battered fish and chips, pies, big steaks and burgers and they even have Eton mess, which was delicious. There is something for everyone and the menu changes daily also. They also have a brunch menu on Saturdays and Sundays.

Behind the bar they have a good selection of ales from Sharpes, Youngs and Sambrooks Breweries. The wine list is much better than your average pub and has been carefully selected by Master of wine and farther of Rupert, John Clevely. It is a varied wine list, which the staff seem to know well.

In regards to price, starters are from £4.95, mains are from £9.50, desserts from £5.50 and a glass of wine will set you back £3.90. We think it is very reasonable as you have to remember this is Chelsea.

We think this is a great little pub and shows that Geronimo has stuck to its ethos since the beginning. It has already become a hit with the locals again and is bound to become a Sunday lunch favorite also. geronimo-inns.co.uk
