We Like – Patrick Mavros Sea Horse Cufflinks

Patrick Mavros is one of the most respected sculptors of our age. He takes his influences from wildlife mainly in his homeland of Zimbabwe, where he has an estate just outside Harare. He became a sculptor and artist almost by accident when he carved a pair of earrings from ivory for his newly wed wife. Very soon afterwards, requests and orders from their friends came flooding in.

Patrick Mavros has a fantastic range of men’s jewellery including silver bangles and some beautiful belts, plus a fantastic range of cufflinks such as these Sea Horse ones above. He experienced the Sea Horse on a dive in Mauritius and decided to create a piece after it. At £140 we think these are incredibly good value for what they are.
