Having been around since 1846, Ulysse Nardin is one of the oldest and most prestigious brands in a long line of Swiss watchmakers. Embracing their incredible heritage are their time-honoured designs, which are relatively unchanged from their styles of the early 20th century. Infused in all that they do, it is this history that helps to define the brand and this notion is perhaps most prevalent with their Marine line of watches.
Originally distributed to naval fleets the world over in the latter half of the 19th century, Ulysse Nardin’s Marine Chronometers boast somewhat of a legendary status today. No expense is spared with the construction of the watches, and every fine detail is meticulously perfected to ensure that they represent the pinnacle of timekeeping accuracy.
A watch for those who demand perfection in each and every aspect, the Marine Chronograph Manufacture is a true embodiment of what the Swiss brand is all about, and it channels the core values of both its chronometer cousin and the company’s founder. It’s available in a number of forms, with 18ct gold or stainless steel cases being available, as well as leather or rubber straps, which add elements of a luxury or sporty nature, depending on what you choose. Our favourite timepiece has to be the limited edition white face and black leather strap combination, as its classic Roman numerals, mono-tone black accenting and redesigned hands really elevate it above the rest.
