There are no two ways about it; 130 years is a long time. There are few brands that have stood proud for this long, especially in the notoriously fast moving world of fashion, yet Turnbull & Asser have – this year they are celebrating that very milestone.
In that time, they’ve accomplished plenty, and have garnered a reputation as arguably the finest shirtmakers to ever grace the planet. They have, of course, attracted a number of big name clients including none other than Charles, Prince of Wales, a gentleman synonymous with classic British style. He liked the brand so much in fact, that he doused them with a Royal Warrant in 1981. Only the very best and most exclusive brands are given the prestigious award, the likes of which are chosen by Prince Charles himself.
