Trunk Clothiers launch made-to-measure tailoring service

The exclusive London boutique will now offer bespoke jackets, suits and trousers

Words: Jonathan Wells

For seven years, Trunk Clothiers has been decking gentleman across London out in the finest menswear from Italy, the US, Britain and even Japan.

But now, the cosy neighbourhood shop is expanding. The smart blazers, crisp shirts, elegant knitwear and luggage they already offer is being bolstered by an exclusive and sharply tailored made-to-measure service.

Jackets will start from £700, suits from £900 and trousers from £400. And the fabrics on offer are selected from the best houses around the world, with options from Ariston, Loro Piana, Fox Brother and Holland & Sherry.

Trunk plans to expand even further, with more and more materials becoming available throughout the year, so keep an eye on the shop for new and exciting textures, patterns and colours.

Fittings are by appointment only, and your initial consultation will see you determine your desired fabric, style and the details of the garment – so it’s a good idea to go in with some idea of what you want your finished product to look like.

True to their inimitable service, further alterations can be made once the garment arrives – which takes six weeks – to ensure that your clothes from Trunk are not only the best made in London, but also the best-fitting.
