Time’s the Charm by John Lobb for LC:M

One of our favourite designers, who showcased yesterday at Day 2 of this season’s LC:M, is British shoemaker John Lobb. Always the stylish innovators, the brand has chosen to highlight their new collection with a beautifully animated short film.

Terrifically hand-drawn, the film celebrates all that London represents and centres around iconic imagery such as the tube and our famous art galleries. Adding to its British authenticity and charm, The Beatles backing track to the film has been specially recorded by Northhampton-based The Temples – the very city when John Lobb’s factory headquarters is based.

Having now seen the John Lobb SS15 show, which fused contemporary elements while referencing their unrivalled heritage, we are not surprised that they wanted to celebrate it as much as possible.
