Thursday is the new Friday: 8 of the best spots in London

Words: Holly

Thursday is the new Friday, or so they say. In actual fact, for years now, Thursdays have signalled the start of the weekend, empty streets fill with open collared shirts and the clicking of heels on pavements, bottles start popping, music gets louder and morals become looser – who cares if you have to nurse your head through work on a Friday when Thursdays are just so damn fun?

Actually, ask most people and they’ll tell you how we are all now wonderfully adept at ducking into doorways to avoid our bosses and lurking by the water-cooler as we tellingly devour glass after glass of ice-cold water in a desperate bid to replenish our parched mouths. But don’t let your Friday be ruined for the sake of a below par night, instead take a look at 8 of our favourite Thursday night destinations, just don’t blame the hangover on us tomorrow!
