As Christmas can be seen on the horizon gadgets vie for supremacy in the digital realm, with more and more being released in the months preceding the festive season. Though we’re not sure whether these would definitely make our final list, they’re certainly in contention.
RING SMART DOORBELL
This ‘smart’ doorbell lets you address whoever is at your door from anywhere in the world, from your tablet or phone. Including a built-in camera with night vision, Ring is the perfect way to screen for bothersome visitors and from the comfort of your sofa you can prevent Jehovah’s witnesses, the police or ex-girlfriends from disturbing you while you watch the big game. Although the doorbell is charged via Micro USB, it can last for almost a year without having to be recharged and is durable in all weather conditions.

WITTIDESIGN NOTTI SMARTLIGHT
The Notti smart light is perhaps not everybody’s idea of an exciting gadget but it actually provides a stylish home accessory – as well as being an companion piece to the latest smartphones. When you’re at home or in the office you place the phone on the Notti smart light and connect it through bluetooth, the light will illuminate with a spectrum of colours depending on what the phone is doing (receiving calls, texts, skypes etc).
