The trick is being able to filter the information we actually need from the information we don’t. The report states that the human brain is more productive when it is given time to learn what distracting information it can disregard.

Ex Bank of England chief, Governor Lord Mervyn King, has stated that another crisis is ‘certain’ to happen if governments don’t undertake bold reforms and solve the unbalance of the world economies before it’s too late. He also warned that the crisis may come sooner than we think.

A man with dual Algerian and Belgian citizenship has been arrested over claims that he has links with the ringleader of the Paris attacks. An Algerian court of law stated that 29-year-old Zahir Mehdaoui had been arrested for belonging to a terrorist group active overseas.
Cuts for the Chinese

China expects to lay off 1.8 million workers in the coal and steel industry in a bid to tackle and reduce industrial overcapacity. China aims to remove around 500 million tonnes of coal production capacity within the next 3 to 5 years and halt approvals of all new projects.
Amazon set to enter fresh food market

Amazon have signed a supply deal with Morrisons. Morrisons is the fourth biggest supermarket in the UK and said earlier today that the deal would allow Amazon Prime Now and Amazon Pantry customers access to a wide range of both fresh and frozen products from Morrisons in the coming months.
Osborne’s spending cuts

George Osborne has announced that public spending might have to be cut even further than previously planned after the UK’s economic growth fell short of expectations in wiping out the country’s budget deficit. Official growth figures, announced on Thursday last week, showed that Britain’s economy is smaller than expected. Osborne is due to make his annual budget statement on March 16th.
