There is no better example of this than Elena, however this traditional sailing schooner is not all that she seems from the outside. Believe it or not she was only launched in 2009. Elena was recreated from a yacht built in 1928, also called Elena, using exactly the same drawings. Essentially the end result was one of the most stylish and elegant yachts, combined with modern day performance and technology, a match made in heaven.
For those of you who like to sail, Elena’s performance is second to none and she takes part in classic regattas all over the world.
