When it comes to Wellington boots there is really only one brand worth considering. Hunter is renowned for producing the very finest in country footwear and they have done so for over a century, supplying landed gentry and countless royals in the process. Their Original Boot is considered a design classic and is the benchmark for all other Wellington boots, so if you want to channel your inner country gent then look no further.

New for Autumn 2014, the Edinburgh based brand are introducing the Norris Field Boot Collection, which encompasses a new range of boot styles for those looking for something even more robust and capable. Epitomising the notion of function over form, The new Hunter Field boot range offers the best in performance and usability throughout a range of footwear, outerwear and accessories.

A highlight of the range, and named after the company’s founder, Henry Lee Norris, the Norris Field Boot is perhaps their most rugged addition to the line-up and it combines and improves on a number of features taken from both the Original and the Argyll boots. Built to last a lifetime, these boots are designed to withstand abuse from the harshest of environments, so you’ll be more than catered for on your countryside walk.

One of the standout features of the product is its innovative new sole, which boasts a zigzag construction that offers unparalleled grip on any number of surfaces, and as it’s made of a unique soft rubber it will provide you with an increased range of movement on your outdoor endeavours. The added panel on the front strengthens the overall structure of the boot and the weatherproof metal buckle gives you added comfort and support through the leg, ensuring that you can always remain confident no matter what hurdles lay ahead.

Another addition to the line-up is the Balmoral boot, which, similarly to the Norris, is designed for high performance in the harshest of landscapes. The Balmoral features the same unique soft rubber construction and weatherproof buckle as its sibling, but its brand new anti-fatigue insoles will give you a spring in your step with shock absorption technology, making them perfect for a music festival, a day on the farm or anything in between.

Available to buy from July 2014 at the CLA Game Fair, www.hunter-boot.com and select retailers.
