The OXO Tower Restaurant, South Bank
Words: Gentleman's Journal
OXO Tower Wharf,, SE1 9PH, Tel: 020 7803 3888

With a unique position high above the River Thames the OXO Tower has become renowned for it’s alfresco dinning and being the perfect romantic spot to take your loved one this summer.
With breath taking views over central London there is no better place to spend a summers day in the capital. The Head Chef Jeremy Bloor has created a seasonal menu with locally sourced ingredients that is second to none. To start with, you can choose from slow cooked partridge, Scottish Langoustines or Devon Crab. The main courses included everything from Monkfish to Venison and Welsh stuffed Loin of Lamb. For dessert you can treat yourself to Almond Pannacotta, or if that doesn’t take your fancy why not try the Rhubarb Crumble Soufflé for two with Ginger ice cream. Believe me when I say this is a menu that will have something for everyone, and what’s more is you will walk away telling your friends about it for weeks after.
The Restaurant also has a wine list that is hard to beat and if unsure ask for the Sommeliers guidance in choosing the right wine for your chosen dish.
One thing is for sure; you will leave the OXO Tower Restaurant longing to go back. This really is an experience on the senses that you will not forget.
