The film Ted is Seth McFarlane’s directing debut and for those of you who don’t know who he is, ever heard of Family Guy? For those fans of Family Guy, just knowing that Seth Mcfarlane directed and acted in it will be the only review you will ever need. For those of you who dislike family guy and think that it is a vile and cheap humored cartoon, then Ted probably won’t be the film for you.
The story line is that Ted is a teddy bear that John Bennett (Mark Wahlberg) was given for Christmas when he was nine years old. Bennett made a wish as most nine year olds do and Ted came to life. Fast forward 26 years and a grown up John and Ted produce a winning comedy formula, with many great sub plots and a film that produces laughs nearly in every scene.
With out ruining the rest of the story line, in our opinion it is definitely the funniest film this year and just maybe one of the funniest films ever. tedisreal.com
