Words: Gentleman's Journal
Photography: Charlie Sawyer
Last week, just a few days before the beloved George closed its doors for a lengthy refurbishment, Gentleman’s Journal hosted an evening with friends, colleagues and partners to raise money and awareness for RISE — the brilliant campaign devised by The Prince’s Trust. Over Rumor Rosé, Monkey 47 Gin cocktails, and plenty of Billecart Salmon champagne, guests learned about the important work that RISE has done in building a powerful network of young adults aged between 21-45 who are passionate about social mobility. (You can become a Prince’s Trust Riser, by the way, by donating just £20 per month to the scheme.) It was an enjoyable and informative evening from start to finish, and a neat reminder, as the holiday season approaches, that charity begins at home.
