There have been plenty of iconic images taken over the years, some of which have had profound social and political impact. Historical images, for one reason or another, boast far more gravitas than many of those taken today; perhaps it’s the story behind the photos, the romance of the figures depicted or simply the imagination of the viewer, which is allowed to run wild. Some photos are just insanely cool though, often without explanation. Here are the coolest photos ever taken…
