The Coolest London Offices We Wish We Worked In
Words: Violet
Here at The Gentleman’s Journal we like to think we’ve got a pretty decent office, great location, lots of natural light and elegant clean white walls with ample space for brainstorming and inspiration, but even we couldn’t help but wish we worked in some these amazingly awesome London offices…
GOOGLE,
, WHERE: Victoria, WHY WE WISHED WE WORKED HERE: Hidden inside one of the capital’s most traditional buildings in Victoria, anyone who has seen The Internship won’t be disappointed by Google’s London office. Every wall doubles as a whiteboard and staff are encouraged to write anywhere they want. Pool tables, sofa’s instead of meeting desks and TV’s all over the shop – this is our kind of office.
INNOCENT DRINKS,
, WHERE: Kensal Rise, WHY WE WISHED WE WORKED HERE: ‘Fruity Towers’ as it is referred to is the home of everyone’s favourite fruit drinks, the offices span 5 floors and are decked with fake grass, picnic benches and bunting. There’s even an English red telephone box.
RED BULL, WHERE: Soho, WHY WE WISHED WE WORKED HERE: There is a slide. Enough said.
FORWARD INTERNET GROUP,
WHERE: Camden, WHY WE WISHED WE WORKED HERE: This slightly crazy Camden office was inspired by Alice in Wonderland and video games like Super Mario – if you like to feel as though you’ve dropped acid on your morning commute then this is the office for you. There’s a music room, games room, free canteen, yoga classes, table tennis and a giant lobster – obviously.
