Offering a decadent nine dish festive feast, created by Michelin-starred Chef Tong Chee Hwee, the menu will include a few of our favourite signature dishes as well as some limited edition contemporary interpretations of traditional Chinese New Year fare. As if celebrating the Chinese New Year with delectable food at Hakkasan isn’t enough, they’re even honouring the Chinese “Wishing Tree” tradition; inviting diners to share their New Year wishes. SEE: THURSTON MOORE AT THE WHITE CUBE, , Singer, songwriter and guitarist of Sonic Youth, Thurstan Moore (or the Godfather of art-rock) will be presenting new material at artist Christian Marclay’s exhibition at the White Cube this weekend. Presenting a special live performance of a new composition he’s been invited to create in response to one of the key works within Marclay’s exhibition, the performance will be pressed straight onto vinyl by The Vinyl Factory. No one knows yet quite what to expect, but with Marclay’s art as his inspiration and the backing of The London Sinfionetta, we’re pretty sure it’ll be well worth the visit.
