When it comes to superyachts, there are no limits to the kinds of facilities and features found on board, from cinemas to swimming pools and spas. While many amenities are installed to ensure total comfort and convenience when cruising, there are toys that are reserved purely for fun.
These days, each brand new yacht that comes onto the market is seemingly more exciting than the last, so your toys should follow suit. With this in mind, here are 4 of the best toys that money can buy, ensuring your time out on the water is as fun as it can possibly be.
SUBMARINES AND SUBMERSIBLES

It may seem like something more likely to be seen in a Bond film, but submarines are becoming a popular addition to many superyachts. These can range from submersibles, such as the selection from U-Boat Worx, to serious submarines custom-designed for the world’s largest yachts. Either way, the underwater exploration experiences these offer are unforgettable.
QUADSKI

Sitting somewhere between a jet ski and a quad bike, the Quadski is perfect for adrenaline junkies. Powered by a BMW Motorrad K1300 engine and built with lightweight carbon composite, it can reach speeds of 45mph both on water and on land. Unlike many amphibious vehicles before it, the transition from one to the other is almost seamless and is completed in around 5 seconds at the push of a button. This really is the ultimate superyacht toy.

SEA-DOOS

Bombardier’s Sea-Doos have become the go-to personal watercraft choice for luxury yachts and are so popular that they even have their own international racing events. Aside from great design and performance, their appeal has a lot to do with an intelligent approach to watercrafts for experienced and novice riders. The ‘Spark’ model was launched last summer in a range of colours and comes in at around half the weight and significantly less fuel consumption than most other jet skis.
FLYBOARDS

The Flyboard broke onto the scene a couple of years ago and is yet to be outdone in the fun stakes. It was designed and manufactured by jet ski champion Franky Zapata and is comprised of a wakeboard-style board attached to 2 pipes and a jet-ski turbine that creates powerful water jets under foot. After a little practice, the rider can be launched up to 10m high and even complete tricks such as ‘dolphins dives’ and somersaults.
