Tech – Vektr headphones
Words: Violet

We love these VEKTR headphones. We love them because they’re bulky, so there’s no chance of losing them down the back of the sofa or in the bottom of your briefcase. We love them because they’re stylish, with their bold angles and no-apologies black. But most of all, we love them because they make music sound like it’s supposed to sound.
They are 3d, so they can make music sounds like it’s coming from above or either side. Plus, the triangular design means they’re much less likely to get tangled up than those pesky, utterly unoriginal white cords you see around the place. On top of which, the VEKTR headphones come with a rather stylish little travelling case and a cloth to keep ’em clean. And then there’s the mike which can be used to make calls, too.
Some headphones of this type can over-stress the bass, meaning that listening for long periods of time is a bit uncomfortable. Not so the VEKTR, which enhances no aspect of the music while making sure that it all sounds amazing and balanced.
They’re also very soft on the ear. Despite the hard lines, the actual cups are designed to fit so perfectly on the ear that they feel light as air and take very little getting used to.
The VEKTR headphones cost £220. For more information, visit diesel.com
