Known for playing their part in the James Bond movies, as well as producing some of the most luxurious superyachts on the water, the UK-based Sunseeker is amongst the most iconic boat-builders in the world. They aren’t known for building the largest yachts, however, preferring to focus on developing and continuing to perfect the popular mid-range size category. But last year they stepped things up a notch with the launch of the stunning new 155 Yacht.
At just over 47 metres the flagship 155 is their biggest and most advanced superyacht to date, setting a new benchmark in design and technology for the company. The first in the series to be rolled out was Blush, which was built for Formula 1 legend Eddie Jordan and immediately captured worldwide attention that has since seen her nominated for a World Superyachts Award.
Blush is exceptionally stylish, with her distinctive Sunseeker lines that have become so recognisable, given a sharper, more contemporary edge. She has been meticulously crafted with outdoor life in mind, offering a 3,500-nautical-mile range, meaning you can take your pick of far-flung destinations and reach them in comfort amid huge outdoor spaces. As with most superyachts at this level, the sundeck is particularly impressive, featuring a relaxed seating and dining area and a Jacuzzi that benefits from panoramic views and is in reaching distance to the sleek glass-top bar.
Her interior is modern but elegant and down-to-earth, combing light woods with fine patterned fabrics – this can, of course, be customised to each owner’s tastes. The spaces on offer are perfect for entertaining, providing another bar, intimate formal dining and several relaxation areas. Up to 12 guests and 10 crew can be accommodated on board in staterooms that would rival even the best 5 star hotel rooms.
If you’re lucky enough to be in the market for a brand new luxury yacht like the 155, visit the Sunseeker website to make an enquiry. Alternatively Blush is available for charter through Camper & Nicholsons International at rates starting from €200,000 per week.
