STYLE – NEW SAINT LAURENT CAMPAIGN AW14/15

Amidst men’s fashion week, the iconic fashion house Saint Laurent released their new AW14 men’s ad campaign. Shot by Creative Director, Hedi Slimane himself, the campaign features British singer Jake Smallwood from the band White Room, and the guitarist Jack Dalby – a Paul Weller protégé.

Both boys are clad in the Parisian labels trade mark slim fit suits, dark overcoats, and hard-edged leather pieces. Shot in a nostalgic black and white, like some kind of stylish trustafarian duo, we see the new faces of Saint Laurent frowning across the LA skyline, posing on rooftops amongst atmospheric lighting and beaten up furniture. It looks like rock & roll is back in vogue (if it ever even went out, that is), and what could more fitting for AW than moody frowns and stylish leather jackets?
