How to pull off a check suit this season

Subtlety is key

The last thing you want is for people to stop in the street and point and stare at the gentleman in the checked suit: it’s imperative that you blend in. By this we mean that you need to keep the rest of the outfit as quiet and calm as possible – don’t go mixing patterns, colours or textures. Pair with a pale shirt, black shoes and – if the weather permits – an overcoat.

Opting to wear a check suit isn’t actually that big of a deal; it just seems that way because you’ve been wearing plain suits for your entire life.
