One Wall Street is a towering art deco masterpiece that recently underwent an ambitious transformation, becoming the largest office-to-residential conversion in Manhattan. The building was designed in 1931 by legendary architect Ralph Walker for early 20th century American bank Irving Trust, before it served as the global headquarters of the Bank of New York until 2015.
Macklowe Properties was enlisted with the task of bringing this historic gem into the 21st century while preserving its historical integrity, through a meticulous $1.5 billion renovation that saw the introduction of 566 luxury condominiums, as well as high-range residents-only amenities including a 6,500 square-foot co-working space, an exclusive restaurant and bar, a wellness space and a retail centre. In 2025, iconic Parisian retailer Printemps will unveil a new concept store in the building, making One Wall Street a fashion-forward destination that puts you at the heart of the best New York City has to offer.
