THE PRIMO OVAL CERAMIC GRILL
Words: Holly
Looking for a way to spruce up your outdoor cooking regime? It seems the answer has arrived in ceramic oval form. Cue the Primo Oval Ceramic Grill.
The Primo Oval Ceramic Grill offers an incredible 400 square inches of cooking surface, and even extends to 680 square inches if you incorporate the rack extensions. The grill can reach temperature extremes of 750 degrees down to 95 degrees, meaning that you have ultimate control of how you want to cook your food.
The grill allows you to use both direct and indirect methods of cooking simultaneously, and has a cast iron chimney cap, revisable grates, a stainless steel vent door and a built in thermometer. Unfortunately, the table has to be bought separately, but there’s no denying this is one mighty cooking machine.
The Primo Grill is made by George Samaras, a Greek who migrated to America after marrying his American wife. Samaras produces the only American-made ceramic grills, and is a huge competitor on the barbecue scale. Primo is Italian for ‘the best’, a trait that he takes very seriously when it comes to his product. Samaras spent several years developing and testing his ceramic grills, and now the grills are produced at their 92,000-square-foot headquarters in Tucker, Georgia. The Grills are sold in more than 24 countries worldwide.
