, An 1199 silhouette underlines the family DNA, while the Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) and the fully integrated Riding Mode technology of Ride-by-Wire, triple stage ABS, Ducati Traction Control (DTC) and Engine Brake Control (EBC) continues the benchmark ingenuity introduced with the latest Ducati Panigale model.

This new leader of the pack, the Ducati 899 Panigale, is state-of-the-art, sleek and aggressive. The new street bike model will replace the Ducati 848 Superbike at the top of the range, boasting a new Superquadro engine with 148 horsepower. It’ll growl, not purr.

The bike is managed by an advanced suite of electronic control systems, including a Ride-by-Wire throttle system, Ducati QuickShift transmission management and plenty of other details to make walking away from the showroom on foot that little bit harder.

According to Ducati, the new 899 Panigale is a “Supermid” version of the larger-engined 1199 Panigale, designed to provide the thrill of the company’s flagship model with the refinement expected of an everyday streetbike.

The sheer beauty of it will make turning away from the showroom empty handed impossible. Visually, it has the sharp, angular body styling of a bike that looks like it’s be snatched right out of the warehouse ready to seek out thrill.

Its outstanding power-to-weight ratio guarantees a lightweight ride. Choose from traditional Ducati red with black wheels or a stunning arctic white with red wheels.
