The Alfa Romeo 4c is one of the lightest cars on the market. It weighs just 846kg. That really is not very much – consider that the lightest ford fiesta on the market comes in at over 1,000kg. This Alfa has been streamlined wherever possible – from the removal of interior carpets to the aluminium engine. Even the window glass is thinner than usual.
And so – it’s swift. It’s nifty. It’s a naughty little car, with a top speed of 155mph. There’s no heaving here – the 4C can dart and duck like it’s airborne. More specs: the Alfa Romeo 4C has a 237bhp turbocharged engine. It had a dual-clutch box which sends power to the rear wheels.
It punches way above its weight – literally. It goes from 0-60mph in 4.5 seconds. It’s a little two-seater, perfect for taking someone for a spin. What’s more – at an estimated £50,000 – it’s far cheaper than many other semi-supercars on the market right now. This is a car to drive, a car to enjoy, a car to experience the world in. Buckle up.
The Alfa Romeo 4C will be released this winter. For more information, visit 4c.alfaromeo.com
