The pick: how to be the most stylish man in the room this spring

Incidentally, the Louis W. for A.P.C. collection is inspired by the sports culture found at English private schools – an aesthetic that has been popularised by film adaptations of Evelyn Waugh’s Brideshead Revisited.

The sandy hue makes this an extremely protean piece, and unlike some suede jackets, it pairs equally well with black or navy trousers. For a casual but elevated weekend look take a leaf out of the Ivy League playbook, donning with a shirt or plain white tee, dark trousers and a pair of chunky loafers.
