Last night, Quaglino’s in London played host to an intimate VIP dinner to welcome Eddie Redmayne as the new International Ambassador of Omega. To the sound of the wonderful seven-piece orchestra of French singer Benoit Viellefon and the London-based trio ‘The Nightingale Girls’, the selected guests enjoyed an indulgent four-course dinner.
MC for the evening was Clemency Burton-Hill, who welcomed Omega President, Stephen Urquhart, and Redmayne onto the stage before the musical entertainments of the evening kicked off. An ever humble Redmayne commented that it was a true honour to be invited to join the Omega family with such an impressive roster of acting and sporting greats, and he said that he was looking forward to his new role. Stars of the event included Bafta winning actor Chiwetel Ejiofor and Downton Abbey’s Dan Stevens.
Redmayne joins an impressive list of other high profile Omega Ambassadors including George Clooney, Daniel Craig, Nicole Kidman, Rory McIlroy, and Cindy Crawford.
