Bentley was always expected to release the convertible continental GT Speed, however they have thrown in a few little surprises.
They claim their new creation is the fastest four-seat drop-top with it’s top speed of 202mph, making it 7mph faster than the old model. This speed comes from the twin-turbo 6.0-litre W12 engine, which produces 616 bhp, 590lb and has a 0-60 mph of just 4.1 seconds.
Speed isn’t the only improvement on the old model, there has been a 15 percent mpg improvement and as with the GT Speed, expect the additional lowered suspension, updated anti roll bars, air springs and dampers. The ride is likely to be firmer too, due to the reworked steering.
The looks haven’t change dramatically, however changes include dark chrome air intakes, 21-inch wheels and larger tail pipes.
Bentley is yet to release any pricing, however it’s expected to come in at around £165,000 and will go on sale next summer.
