How to nail smart-casual in the summer
Words: Hamish Roy
It’s generally accepted that dressing with panache in the summer months can be quite difficult. In the depths of winter, a regally sweeping overcoat will cover a multitude of sins. Summer dressing, on the other hand, calls for a degree of unveiling – which means that it isn’t quite so forgiving. The navy blazer and pale trouser are an age-old pair. Navy (the shade) takes its name from the Royal Navy, who selected it for their sailor’s uniforms.
