The exquisite Montblanc Meisterstück leather goods collection has been designed exclusively for Harrods. Available from May, headlining the collection is the unique Meisterstück Selection Briefcase, a timeless piece hand-crafted in genuine alligator leather, and, for the first time, detailed with a diamond encrusted clasp for that added touch of luxury. On record, this is the most expensive leather item ever produced by the brand. At £31,000 it goes without saying that this is a piece of timeless luxury one must have.
Styled in British Racing Green, other items include the Montblanc Meisterstück Selection Tablet Cover – of which only 50 will be produced, the Montblanc Meisterstück Selection Wallet (£185) and the Montblanc Meisterstück Selection iPhone 5 Case which will both be available in limited quantities of just 100 pieces each. Like all of the brand’s finery, the rare and elegant leather goods collection has been handcrafted and designed in Montblanc’s own Pelletteria in Florence, Italy.
Having been named after the revered Montblanc Meisterstück (‘Masterpiece’), first produced in 1924, and without doubt the most iconic fountain pen in the world, with a notable reputation as the writing, instrument of choice for both stars and statesmen, it is of course only suitable for this exclusive collection to be displayed in Harrods’ very own Great Writing Room. With or without the diamonds, we are most taken by the briefcase – it’s quite simply the ultimate power accessory! We can be sure they will disappear into thin air before they’ve settled on their shelf.
