The men you need to emulate this season
Words: Guy Aubrey Devito
They’re the glitterati and the movie stars, the powerful and the affluent. They unknowingly set the trends that we mere mortals follow – they are the men you need to emulate this season.
EDDIE REDMAYNE
The Theory of Everything star has been lauded for his understated, classic sense of style and his frequent appearances in tweed evoke memories of James Mason; an actor, an icon, a gentleman.
IDRIS ELBA
Elba has been the flavour of the month for what seems like forever – and with good reason too. As well as being a terrific character actor, he is blessed with style, often seen with his trademark peacoat – or sporting a sharp suit.
FREDDIE FOX
The Bryanston and Guildhall School of Music and Drama alumnus has showed a keen interest in fashion since his entry into the public eye and continues to impress commentators with his suave, dandy-esque style.
DAVID GANDY
Gandy was recently named the second greatest male model of all time by Vogue US, an astonishing accolade considering the competition. A muse for design duo Dolce and Gabanna, Gandy is the ultimate male style icon.
JARED LETO
The actor and singer has been in much demand since starring in the critically acclaimed Dallas Buyers Club. His rather grudger-cum-hipster style might not be to everybody’s taste, but he is undeniably a well-dressed man.
