Mad Men returns for sixth season

We’ve been waiting a year to find out whether or not Don Draper will choose the path of monogamy and stay faithful to his wife or continue to speed down the road of hedonistic adultery which, let’s be honest, is one of pure self-destruction.

All will be revealed on Tuesday with the return of the notorious US drama in the sixth season of Mad Men.

For those not yet hooked, Mad Men is a US drama about advertising executives in 1960s New York. The creative brain-child of acclaimed writer and director Matthew Weiner, the new series of Mad Men is set to be overloaded with sex, style, complex relationships and class. In other words, sharp suits, sexy women, vicious business deals and plenty of on-screen swagger and suave.

Determined not to tease out the plot of the new season, Weiner sets our minds rolling by stating, “The whole story of the season is the answer to the cliff hanger question posed to Don Draper, ‘Are you alone?” He described the first two episodes as a “movie unto themselves … A lot has changed” which sends the mind racing further, particularly since Weiner has confirmed that this season will be penultimate one in the drama.

We’ve heard mutterings of a wedding, two deaths and a “dramatic physical transformation.”
