Barbour and Land Rover announce new collection

It is impossible to climb into the Land Rover Autobiography without spreading your legs into the bed-sized foot well stretching before you, and then childishly pressing and pulling every single button and cord within reach. Especially when you have a chauffeur.
Perhaps Land Rover’s most luxurious vehicle to date, the back seats of the Autobiography feature a very effective in-seat masseuse (which got a two hour test ride), a TV, a fridge and a hair-raising 4.4 litre engine, which the more than capable chauffeur, John, put to good use. At first glance, the Autobiography looked to be as heavy and difficult to move as my destination, the fabulous 19th century Eastnor Castle. But once we hit the open road the behemoth proved it had some decent poke and grumble, shifting from 0-60mph in just over 6 seconds.
The release of the car coincides with the launch of a collaboration with Barbour to produce a clothing collection. The result is a combination of urban chic and country practicality in a collection that upholds tradition, while exploring the best of modernity and functionality.
The collaborative effort has culminated in a Country Lux range for both men and women which features an exclusive tartan, and the Black Label range, a modern interpretation of rural traditions designed to appeal to city dwellers.
