Introducing: the latest addition to Savile Row

Following the successful launch of Joseph menswear in 2013, the brand last night opened its flagship store on London’s Savile Row. The opening marks a significant moment for the brand’s expansion into menswear.
The actual store will extend over 1000 square feet and will be fully stocked with the complete offering of the men’s Spring/Summer 2016 ready-to-wear collection – the same one that was shown at London Collections: Men in June 2015.
There’s no better place than Savile Row for Joseph to establish itself as a menswear brand; it will be sitting next to world-famous brands such as Gieves & Hawkes and Richard James. The store brings the true sense of modernity and innovation that it’s known for, mixed in with the classic and traditional feel of the architecture of Savile Row itself. Joseph’s signature monochrome palette is translated throughout the store through modern accents and materials. Monolithic objects and plinths are cast in marble and cor-ten steel and vulcanised rubber work alongside the building’s original parquet flooring. The whole design focusses on the interplay between contrasts and is representative of Joseph’s collections.
The whole store is partitioned into three separate gallery spaces and is indicative of the narrative that lies at the centre of each and every Joseph collection. In each room there are varying light levels, alternating colours and changes in geometry and form – allowing each customer to move seamlessly through the whole collection and become submerged in the full Joseph experience.
