Since Steve Jobs passed away it seems the world has been watching Apple’s every move and thinking, was Steve Jobs Apple, or does Apple have a future without him?
When the iPad 3 came out everyone was waiting see the change, however the first impression was that it looked exactly the same. In fact the iPad 3 is heavier and thicker, so you would be right to think this is a step backward. On the other hand, in terms of the design, we think why change something that has been such a success?
In regards to the innovation, you just have to look a little harder to find the Apple we all know and love. The most substantial change is the new high definition screen, or as Apple calls it ‘The Retina Display’. Tim Cook who is essentially Steve Jobs’s replacement (if there can ever be such a thing), claimed to have “redefined once again the category apple created”, he was right and we think it is the best display ever on a mobile device.
On top of the new HD screen, Apple have powered its new tablet with the latest A5X chip, this has dramatically improved the graphic performance. Another improvement is the new 5MP camera with its full 1080p video recording. However the best improvement of all is the new ultra fast 4G connectivity and once more all the improvements above have been implemented whilst keeping the same 10-hour battery life.
