Collaborating with legendary Mercedes tuner, AMG, Cigarette Racing have created one of the fastest boats money can buy. The 50’ Marauder GT S takes its inspiration from various AMG models, most specifically the new Mercedes-AMG GT S road car, which has been lauded by critics for its outstanding performance on road and track. The Marauder aims to conquer the seas in a similar vein and after looking at its performance figures it’s easy to see how.
The Mercedes-AMG GT S makes do with just one 503bhp twin-turbocharged V8 engine, but the Marauder goes just a little it further. Featuring twin Mercury Racing, 1550bhp V8s, this incredible machine can reach speeds of up to 135mph. With a total power output of 3100bhp, it’s one of the most powerful boats of its kind.
The road car influence is clear to see when you take a look at the dashboard. Analogue speedometers are paired with state-of-the-art 12” Garmin LCD screens for effortless navigation. The gauges themselves are wrapped in carbon fibre and the AMG bucket seats ensure you’ll stay planted through the tightest of twists and turns.
