Royal Ascot – the event which leads the way in the horse racing calendar and combines glamour and fashion with fantastic racing – has taken place this week, with the excitement coming to a close tomorrow. It has included the best horses from around the world, all performing to the highest level on the biggest stage. This spectacle saw the Queen coming down the track in a carriage before the start of each day’s racing, a tradition that has been going on for many years.
