HIGHLIGHTS: DAY 3 LONDON COLLECTIONS: MEN SS15

And so it’s all over. The third and final day of London Collections: Men SS15 was a spectacular affair, with Savile Row tailors, up and coming designers and the world’s biggest names all presenting to the fashion world. Here is a round-up of our highlights:

JERMYN ST, ST JAMES’S SHOWCASE, , Taking place on the fourth floor of Fortnum and Mason, the St James Showcase was an elegant display of the finest garments and accessories the famous London area has to offer. Each item was accompanied by an insightful video, adding an interactive element to a presentation that impressed with its old school charm.

PAUL SMITH, , Famed for his intricate detailing and exquisite simplicity, Paul Smith went all out for his SS15 shoe collection, which was presented on the morning of the final day of London Collections: Men. A varied assortment of dashing styles were presented in a range of vibrant colours and finishes, all of which looked perfect within the chic walls of the Hauser & Wirth gallery on Savile Row.

TOM FORD , , Tom Ford is renowned for his tailoring and eveningwear but for his SS15 collection the highly acclaimed designer decided to branch off in a new direction. Casual attire is what he’s targeting next, and with jeans, western shirts and perfect leather jackets making appearances; he will undoubtedly succeed, as he always does.

BURBERRY, , The Burberry show at LCM is, without doubt, the main event of the entire three days, taking place in a specially constructed building in Kensington Gardens. As colourful as it was boundary-pushing, Christopher Bailey’s Burberry show was arguably his best ever. We particularly fell in love with the perfectly cut trousers, floppy hats, leather bags and the appearance of aqua blue, which is perhaps our favourite colour for SS15.

TIGER OF SWEDEN , , Tiger were one of the few non-British brands showing at LCM, and they didn’t disappoint. Slim tailoring, sleek boots, bomber jackets, pinks and reds, and a leather belted trench particularly grabbed our attention.

TURNBULL & ASSER, , Classic tailoring brought up to date through slick detailing was the order of the day at the esteemed St James shirtmaker’s presentation. Cotton double breasted jackets with gold buttons, striped sports coats, patch pockets and wide, statement ties impressed aplenty.
