Here’s your first glimpse of the new Top Gear as the trailer is revealed

After months of hype, fallout and six new presenters, Top Gear is finally back on our screens – sort of. The new teaser trailer is a minute of high octane action with glimpses of the new cast and crew. Chris Evans, Matt LeBlanc and the Stig, as you’d expect, feature heavily, whilst Sabine Schmitz gets a brief cameo, a cameo that looks like her chemistry with Evans could be clunky at best. Eddie Jordan, Rory Reid and Chris Harris don’t get a slither of screen time though.

Whilst only a trailer, it appears the BBC have gone big on the production budget in an effort to replace the successful triad of Clarkson, May and Hammond; alongside the McLaren 675 LT, Ferrari’s F12 Tdf and 820bhp Aston Vulcan, are dune buggies and jets.
