The longest standing sport sponsorship in the world, the Hennessy Gold Cup, was presented to Oliver Sherwood for winning the prestigious steeplechase at the Racecourse Newbury. As part of the Hennessy Heritage Festival, the Gold Cup represented the pinnacle of competition throughout the affair, which saw thousands of revellers descend upon the stately locale.
Far and away the most glamorous racing event of the winter season, The Hennessy Gold Cup takes place at the aforementioned Racecourse Newbury in Berkshire. A number of elite stars made appearances on the day, all of whom enjoyed the racing action as it unfolded in front of their eyes. Some of the stars who attended included Carey Mulligan, Jennifer Saunders, Mel C, Martin Clunes, Daniel Ricciardo, Patrick Grant and many more.
