Harry Winston opens newly renovated Bond Street store
The diamond specialist's London flagship makes a glittering return
Words: Gentleman's Journal
Harry Winston, the original purveyor of precious stones, have reopened a sparkling flagship store in the heart of London, a long anticipated event that comes after a 9 month aesthetic overhaul. Holding a retail base in the capital since 2006, Winston’s CEO Nayla Hayek says the restoration comes as an effort to “reflect the rich heritage of the brand, but to also mirror the qualities of our magnificent jewels”.
Nestled amongst the other luxurious boutiques of New Bond Street, customers will now enter Harry Winston’s newly renovated space through a gorgeous archway which has been designed to mirror the brand’s iconic branch on Fifth Avenue, New York.
Once through the gold-gilded door, visitors can start to feel right at home in the salon; with its soft-toned furnishings, bespoke chandeliers and sumptuous silk walls, it manages to flawlessly capture the same intimacy and elegance of a private estate.
Whilst the ground floor is largely dedicated to the brand’s exquisite bridal collections, one can wander to the first floor which plays host to Winston’s exceptional high jewellery, or explore the second level to see their covetable selection of timepieces- whatever you hope to purchase, it’s certain that you’ll walk away with something special.
Visit Harry Winston here and be sure to stop by the shop at 171 New Bond St, Mayfair, London W1S 4RD.
