Getting fit quick is now entirely possible, but you’ve got to work for it. This is the Equinox Training Camp, a intensive 6-week programme designed to improve the health and fitness of participants of all levels. Drawing on the expertise of exercise physiologists, personal trainers, instructors and the Equinox Health Advisory Board, this revolutionary programme incorporates a systematic blend of military training and modern science.

So what will you be doing? Well, the focus is to get a full body work out, so Equinox have incorporated a whole host of well sequenced drills, metabolic bursts and core-focused resistance training implemented by their world-class instructors. Each week, volume driven and timed interval circuits will maximise the attendees’ range of motion and caloric expenditure. In order to keep participants from plateauing, the complexity and intensity will increase throughout the 6 weeks, challenging the members’ athletic thresholds and optimising strength, endurance and flexibility.

What is fantastic about this boot-camp style training is that it is not generic, it is a committed lifestyle makeover ensuring participants are doing the right exercises and techniques and using the right equipment. Members can expect to burn between 600-1000 calories per class but because of the design of the programme, attendees will increase their Excess Post-exercise Oxygen Consumption (EPOC). In Layman’s terms, this means you will be burning many more calories than you would do normally, long after your work out has finished.
